| How to get work on a gay cruise? What will it be like? Im thinking it might be fun/good way to earn some money to work on a cruise and was thinking that to try and narrow down the job market a bit i would work on a gay cruise just doing some bar work or something. | Hi: Some cruise lines are not based on USA but across the pond... so their home port might not be USA I've been on a cruise where it seemed like everyone working was if asian/Philippine origin. The talent entertainment was anglo and others... Their are web sites that promote it... you have to commit to a 4 to 6 month tour/commitment. there is a cruise ship team coming to Chicago to audition musicians... so they do look for workers... look at the cruise lines and check the job postings. I would rather work a gay cruise line then a straight cruise... The trade off of some drama by people would more then offset the rudeness of straight people who think they own the damm ship |
| What cruise line would be best for a gay masc couple looking to have a relaxing, fun time without problems? I am trying to book a cruise for my significant other and I, but we aren't usually into the typical "gay" scene. | Hey J Mar. My suggestion would be Royal Caribbean. On my last cruise we met up with a couple and they were the funnest two guys ever. And I do know that the crew on Royal Caribbean is awesome and made them feel like they were no different, and why did they do this because there is no difference. WE are all people and should be able to have the same kind of fun without feeling left out. I know they were treated very kindly got their pictures taken together on formal night and what not. Just normal people. I would even wager that some of the crew would be same sex oriented! Which ever cruise line you choose I hope you have a great time and just have fun with the one you love, there is something truly romantic and enticing about a cruise. Bon Voyage! |

| there are no "all gay" cruises, but there are gay groups who book cruises. just do a search on gay cruises and you will find a few. you may have to be more flexible on your date and departure port though. |
