Are there any people on here that are teachers at a college that have had sex with students that you were currently teacher or had taught in the past. If so, how was it? i go to school where a student and a teacher are for sure having sex. i know the ages are way off but is it still illegal? the teacher is probably 40s or 50s and the student is 20s or 30s. its community college. how do i get them both thrown in jail and hopefully executed for this?

If they are both over 18 it is not a criminal matter.

In fact for the record it is never a criminal matter when teacher has sex with a student. teacher having sex with a student is not a crime.

However because from high school down the the teachers are all adults and the students are all (or mostly) guyren the crime is statutory rape. A high school teacher who is 22 having sex with a student who is 15 is the same crime if the teacher was a plumber who is 22 is having sex with a girl who is 15.

Having said all that, regardless of age it is considered unprofessional for teachers to sleep with students. They won't go to jail, but if it is found out the teacher had sex with a student (even if the student is over 18, even if they are over 48) it would end the teachers career.

Teachers are rarely fired, but if they don't have tenure they would be not be fired but rather not rehired (as nontenured teachers are all by appointment). And it they have tenure their would be a committee meeting on with or not to take away the tenure, and even having such a meeting would be a career killer (even if they keep the teacher).

Far too often when I turn on my TV there is a teacher sex scandal going on....I'm a student teacher and I just can't imagine what goes in these teacher's heads...I mean do pedophiles seek the teaching profession just to be able to do this? Why would female college teacher flirt with male student?
Im 22 years old and have a professor who is actually very attractive for her age. I dont notice her flirting with other students in my class, but i do notice that she plays on how attractive she is with other male teachers, by being really attentive. I heard that the cases that end up in the news are a small (very small) percentage of whats really happening. Meaning that those type of things could be happening way more than just the few cases you see on the news. Every school could "secretly" be having all of this activity going on and you dont know anything about it until a big news flash comes on tv (if that even happens). I went though Y!A and saw so many people (secretly) admitting that they had sex with their teachers. Some are high school students, some are middle school students, some are college students. But all of this is VERY real. Someone in your school that you know couldve had this happening? But you know nothing about this. Your school or guyrens or family members school is very likely having this "secretly" happening to some guy thats there. Do you think this type of stuff secretly goes on at many schools? How often do you think this happens? What are the actual statistics about all of this (besides just the ones you see on tv)? and Why do guys (the ones who think the teacher was HOT), comedians, and some perverted men have completely oppositional thoughts on this compared to parents, and police officers, judges, and people that just want to sound right. I doubt that it happens very often. Students often have crushes on their teachers but teachers won't have the same feelings and if they do they hide it. The only reason I care is because obviously the guy having sex with the teacher is getting special treatment. If both people consent though I see no reason for legal action. As for comedians, they say anything to get a laugh and push people's buttons as they obviously have with you.
